Primary objective
Provide vital parts of the decision basis for governance of the Norwegian Continental shelf, capable of handling uncertainty of future climate policy impacts and interlinkages between business opportunities and available workforce

Secondary objectives
1. Provide new insights into how energy market and climate policy developments impact investment strategies on the NCS and policy requirements for sustainable labour market development
2. Assess investment needs into new industries and infrastructures, and decarbonization of existing assets on the NCS aiming to maximize value creation, while adhering to climate ambitions and laws
3. Evaluate impacts of policy measures on stimulating mobility and transfer of competences in the Norwegian labour market from todayʼs petroleum sector to new industries
4. Unveil interdependencies between on-and-offshore power markets and possible ripple-effects of offshore investment strategies on market interactions
5 Educate 1 PhD candidate
