Oddbjørn Raaum

Biografi:

Oddbjørn Raaum (f. 1959) er utdannet samfunnsøkonom ved Universitetet i Oslo. Han fullførte cand.oecon i 1984 og Dr.Polit i 1991. Forskningen hans favner bredt med fokus på empriske studier av sosial mobilitet, innvandring, økonomisk ulikhet og utdanning. Han har vært er ansatt ved Frischsenteret (tidl. SNF-Oslo) siden 1991, som direktør i årene 2012-2016. Raaum er også tilknyttet Skatteforsk ved NMBU, Norwegian Fiscal Studies ved Økonomisk institutt ved UiO og IZA.

Han har også vært involvert i ulike offentlige utvalg, herunder Likelønnskommisjonen (NOU 2008:6), Arbeidstidsutvalget (NOU 2016:1), Livsoppholdsutvalget (NOU 2018:13) og programstyrer i Norges Forskningsråd.
